Bill Albert, who co-authored this resource pack with Helen Caplan, invited me to design it. Entitled Disability and bioethics: Life and death questions, it deals with complex and sensitive issues which need to be understood by everyone, including people with learning difficulties. Among other solutions I suggested was a landscape format to allow for a parallel text approach; also the ring binder presentation, which enables the trainer to rearrange the material in whichever way they need, as well as adding and subtracting pages if desired.
