A certain amount of personal input is sometimes required, whether it be to stand in for "Joe Public" when it comes to helping a paleontologist to tell the story of the big discovery of his career, or to act as an interface between a renowned expert author and a potentially intimidating large publishing house. The resulting publications can be quite imaginative as well as very informative and inspiring for the reader.
